Disable ads in Spotify

How to use Spotify Free without banner or sound ads:

  1. Disable third-party cookies
  2. Install µBlock
  3. Use the Spotify web player on play.spotify.com

No need to wait for the ad to pass with the sound muted, like other solutions.

I've clocked more than 40 hours of playtime by now, without a single ad. I suppose they'll patch it up as soon as they find out about it. So, heads up fellow swedes ;)
